Player of the Month awards are back in FIFA 22, meaning fans are once again able to choose which real-life player’s performances have earned them a boosted Ultimate Team card. Here’s everything you need to know to vote, who’s won, how to grab the card, and when they drop in-game.
Player of the Month cards will be nothing new to initiated FIFA fans. Monthly votes in regional leagues see the winners given their own POTM cards in Ultimate Team – boosted cards reflecting their improvements in form.
While the well-known Team of the Week cards offer modest stat improvements, POTM cards tend to be significantly improved versions of the players’ base cards.
FIFA 22 is no different and, like previous years, we expect the players to be unlockable through the completion of a squad building challenge (SBC).

The votes are in and it’s a big congratulations to England and Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane who has scooped up the March 2022 award as the Premier League Player of the Month.
With 4 goals and several assists to his name, Harry Kane’s second half of the season is proving to be quite fruitful in a bid to secure a top 4 place for Spurs.
FIFA 22 players sporting either an England team or a full Premier League team will be keen to add the talismanic forward to their squad, thanks to his array of dazzling stats.
His base card stats are pretty fearsome with 94 shooting, 87 passing, 88 dribbling, and a mean 86 physical too.

It’s a massive month for the Premier League POTM with fans simply spoiled by the choices on offer.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Tottenham Hotspur’s Heung-Min Son are the two star-studded forwards leading the line, with Gabriel Jesus also having a say in the conversation thanks to his April exploits that included a four-goal haul against Watford!
We already know about Man City’s Kevin De Bruyne and his base 91 card, so a potential upgrade could be a scary proposition as the midfield maestro bids to help City in their hunt to outlast Liverpool in the Premier League title race.
But he also faces stiff competition in April as title-chasing rival Thiago has had a spellbinding month for the Reds as their intense march to a possible quadruple continues.
Here’s the full line-up:
- Cristiano Ronaldo – Manchester United
- Kevin De Bruyne – Manchester City
- Heung Min Son – Tottenham Hotspur
- Thiago – Liverpool
- Gabriel Jesus – Manchester City
- Bruno Guimaraes – Newcastle United
- Leandro Trossard – Brighton & Hove Albion
- Nathan Collins – Burnley
