Valorant sensitivity conversions
If you are making the jump to Valorant from Overwatch, Apex Legends, CS:GO, or Rainbow Six though, we’ve got you covered.
Cloud9 Apex pro Jamison ‘PVPX’ Moore has done the maths so you don’t have to. He’s made a list of sensitivity conversions from your favorite FPS titles, so you can make the switch without the stress of having to get used to a new way of aiming.
They are as follows:
- Apex Legends: Sensitivity divided by 3.18181818
- CS:GO: Sensitivity divided by 3.18181818
- Overwatch: Sensitivity divided by 10.6
- Rainbow Six: Sensitivity multiplied by 1.2
VALORANT sensitivity conversions for those wondering:
VALORANT Sensitivity = CSGO or Apex Legends Sensitivity / 3.18181818
VALORANT Sensitivity = OW Sensitivity / 10.6
VALORANT Sensitivity = R6S Sensitivity * 1.2

There are some wacky numbers depending on the game you play, but a number of factors go into it. Each game has a different field of view, and some games you can even set your own.
On top of that, devs just put different numbers into their game backends.
You might have to tinker around with your sensitivity after setting it, but the calculations are a good guide regardless.

If you find that your Valorant sensitivity is too low or high for the game to set, it might be worth adjusting the DPI on your mouse.
A higher DPI setting will increase your sensitivity across all programs, so if you need to up your sensitivity, that is also a good solution.
DPI settings are in different places depending on what mouse you use. Some mice come with preloaded software you can change the DPI in. Others you’ll have to rely on the Control Panel for Windows, or Settings if you use Mac.
Valorant’s closed beta begins on April 7. Want to play? Follow these steps, and cross your fingers, because lady luck will have to be on your side for a key.
