October 2022 · 6 minute read

EA Sports are adding all sorts of new leagues, teams, and stadiums to FIFA 22, so we’ve put together a list of all the rumors and confirmed new content ahead of the game’s release.

FIFA 22 is set to release on October 1 and the community is counting down the days before the title arrives. With so many exciting new additions planned for both Ultimate Team and Career Mode, there’s plenty of content no matter how you like to play.

As FIFA is a franchise that gets a new title every single year and football is always changing, new teams, stadiums, and leagues are added with every new game in the series.

Luckily for us, dataminers have been hard at work ahead of the launch of FIFA 22, figuring which new faces and stadiums we can expect to see in the upcoming title.

New teams in FIFA 22

A good number of smaller clubs from around the world could be getting added to FIFA 22.

On June 29, Futwatch (part of the Dexerto network) tweeted out a list of clubs that had apparently been added to FIFA 21, but most likely in anticipation of FIFA 22.

It’s a seemingly random, scattershot of teams, some of which are even defunct or no longer operational — though some are speculating they could have something to do with the new ICON players, we still don’t know for sure.

Below is a list of all the teams:

New leagues in FIFA 22

According to rumors FIFA 22 could be adding a slew of lower tier leagues from all sorts of countries.

Along with the reveal of the FIFA 22 trailer on July 11 came another huge dump of info on the upcoming game, and it seems India and Brazil will be adding more pro leagues to the game.

The trailer also confirmed the England National League being added, as the players were throwing down on the pitches of Division 5 teams Woking, Barnet, and Stockport, if you look closely.

Thanks to our good friends over at FUT Watch we also know FIFA 22 should be in store for the arrival of teams from a variety of smaller leagues. Everything that’s been leaked so far is listed below:

New stadiums in FIFA 22

We can’t wait to see what FIFA 22 does with some of football’s most famous pitches, and a few lesser-known ones as well.

On August 31 EA Sports revealed every single stadium, new and old, coming to FIFA 22, and there are indeed some legendary pitches making an appearance.

The most famous of the new additions is the Estádio do Dragão, which many argue is the jewel of Portuguese football. League heavyweights FC Porto have played out of the iconic 50,000-capacity arena.

It hosted the most recent Champions League final, where Chelsea beat Manchester City 1–0 in an all-English affair.

Here’s every single stadium that will be featured in FIFA 22, according to EA:
