Having absolutely slayed in the early days of Warzone Pacific, the Automaton Assault Rifle is still one of the game’s most potent weapons, and our best loadout will increase its killing potential.

The Automaton is one of the most popular weapons in Call of Duty: Vanguard, and can be just as deadly and effective in Warzone too. So if you’ve got your Automaton leveled up in Vanguard, you’ll want to jump into Caldera and give this build a try.

Best Automaton Warzone loadout

The Automaton has been a great weapon to use in Warzone Pacific.

Attachments

The best Automaton loadout will be built similar to how you would put together an assault rifle class in Warzone of old in Verdansk.

The Mercury Silencer will be integral in Warzone Pacific, suppressing your gunfire on the minimap while also improving accuracy, albeit with a little drop in range.

Further improving accuracy is the ZAC 600mm BFA barrel, Anastasia Padded stock, Carver foregrip, and Pine Tar Grip. Paired with a good optic, you should be able to succeed in gunfights in medium to long ranges.

Ammunition is key, too, so the 6.5mm Sakura 75 Rnd Drum magazine is hugely beneficial, especially when paired with the Fully Loaded perk to start with max ammo. Add a Lengthened ammo type on for extra bullet velocity and you’ll be in good stead.

Finally, the Frenzy perk gives a boost in health regeneration after getting a kill, making those tight gunfights a little cleaner and allowing you to move onto the next opponent quicker.

Perks & Equipment

E.O.D is a beloved Perk that offers serious protection against explosive blasts, and Overkill is preferable as starting Perk to Ghost to get yourself either a close-range gun or a Sniper Rifle. Amped is ideal for quick weapon swapping, giving you the chance to come out on top during intense gunfights.

Finally, finish off the class with a Throwing Knife to execute downed opponents and a Stim for a big, burst of health.

How to unlock the MP40 in Warzone

To unlock the Automaton in Warzone, players much reach Level 8, so it won’t take too long.

While we recommend reaching that level in Vanguard multiplayer as it’s quicker, it can easily be done in Warzone.

Alternative to the Automaton Warzone loadout

If the slightly nerfed Automaton isn’t quite doing for you and you need something else, then there are some other great recommendations like the STG44 and Bren.

The STG44 is a tried and tested AR with brute force, great accuracy, and amazing range. Whereas the Bren started out as a hidden gem in Caldera and is now one of the game’s bonafide killers, helped by its powerful round and clip sizes.
